celebrates one of America’s premier art forms in visual, culinary and musical language
by presenting a 3-day Art Exhibition and Concert - March 6-7-8, 2015.

All That Jazz weekend such a lovely experience!

The 3-day All That Jazz events included:

*Day 1: Friday March 6  6:30-8:30pm: Pre-opening reception for artists who are participating in the art exhibit. Live entertainment will be provided by pianist Kelly Schrecengost, along with light snacks sponsored by Pam Reynolds-The Bruce House Inn and a cash bar sponsored by Care Ventures-The Freas Family. This pre-opening is for artists who have work accepted for the art show.

*Day 2: Saturday March 7 - The Featured Event 6:30-10:30pm: “All That Jazz” art reception begins at 6:30 with sweet and savory hors d’oeuvres sponsored by
One Tree Productions-Tangent Specialties. There will be a cash bar sponsored by Care Ventures-The Freas Family. The Tim Porter Jazz Trio concert begins at 7:30 pm. There will be two sets of approx 45 min each with one 15 min intermission. Tickets, $25 each, include the Saturday art opening, reception, and concert.

*Special Saturday Feature: In addition to the many regional artists on exhibit and for sale, artist John David will have a special gallery exhibit of his music related original artwork for sale.  John will also be at the Saturday evening event creating an original composition inspired by the evening to be auctioned off by Dustin Freas after the last Tim Porter Jazz Trio set.
This is a great opportunity to watch the artist at work and meet John, a jazz aficionado and drummer, whose abstract artwork is highly collected from New York to California.

*Day 3: Sunday March 8 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Closing reception for the “All That Jazz” visual art exhibit. Accompanied by instructor/pianist Dr. James Lyons, the following students will perform jazz, blues, and show standards: Eleeza Groer of Bishop Walsh School, Sara Sechler of Braddock Middle School, Brynne Hartung of Frankfort Middle School. This is a free community event with light snacks sponsored by Scott & Toni Love-D'Atri Restaurant in LaVale.
